Opuzu is a town in South Dalmatia, located in the valley of the Neretva river between Metković and Ploče. The center of the old part of the city is the classic Roman forum - the square, with the parish church of St. Stjepan. The proximity of the estuary, which is considered the focal point of bird watching in Croatia, is of exceptional importance.
