This inland village and others close by, have become increasingly popular over the last few years, with the perfect mixture of relaxation and only being a few kilometres from Stari Grad which offers an abundance of cafe bars restaurants and entertainment. There is a local cafe bar less than a minute from the plot, which is a vital source of relaxation and knowledge as to what is going on in the village!

Dol is only a few kilometres away from the Ferry port at Stari Grad, operated by Jadrolinija. There are many crossings to Split daily, and in summer the services are extensive, including a night crossing. In the other direction in the town of Jelsa, Jadrolinija also operates a daily catamaran service to Split via Bol on the island of Brac. This is an all-year-round service and makes the mainland town of Split quite accessible.
