PARCELA NA BREŽULJKU

Na uzvišenom položaju, s kojeg se pruža očaravajući pogled na okolicu i zelene brežuljke, smjestila se ova velika parcela. Budući da se nalazi na rubu naselja, veoma je mirna lokacija i skoro bez prometa.
Na parcelu se može doći s dvije strane: asfaltirani s donje strane i makadamski s gornje strane. Dalekovod prolazi kroz dio parcele, no to ne predstavlja prepreku za izgradnju kuće i drugih objekata na ovom prostranom zemljištu.

O MJESTU
Šušnjevica je malo selo u istočnom dijelu Istarske županije, u općini Kršan.
Selo ima povijest koja seže do prapovijesnog i rimskog doba, a nekad je bilo dio gospoštije Kožljak. Prvi pisani spomen sela je iz 1340. godine. Godine 1922., pod talijanskom vlašću, postalo je središte općine zbog svog posebnog jezika i podrijetla.
U selu se nalazi crkva sv. Ivana Krstitelja, izgrađena 1838. godine, i kapela sv. Silvestra, s nekim ostacima fresaka i glagoljskih natpisa. Prema popisu stanovništva iz 2021. godine, selo je imalo 74 stanovnika.

To je jedno od rijetkih mjesta gdje se još govori istrorumunjski jezik, zajedno sa Žejanama i Lanišćem, drugim seloma u Istri. Jezik je ugrožen i ima smo nekoliko stotina govornika.
U selu se održava godišnji festival pod nazivom "Fešta od Šušnjevice", posvećen očuvanju istrorumunjskog jezika, običaja i kulture. Na festivalu se mogu vidjeti tradicionalna glazba, plesovi, nošnje, hrana i rukotvorine.
Selo je rodno mjesto Andreja Glavine, hrvatskog lingvista i pisca koji je proučavao i promicao istrorumunjski jezik i književnost.

A large plot of land is located on an elevated position, from which there is an enchanting view of the surrounding area and green hills. Since it is located on the edge of the village, it is a very quiet location with almost no traffic.
The plot can be accessed from two sides: asphalted on the lower side and macadam on the upper side. The transmission line passes through part of the plot, but this does not represent an obstacle for the construction of a house and other buildings on this spacious plot of land.

LOCATION
Šušnjevica is a small village in the eastern part of Istria County, in the municipality of Kršan.
The village has a history dating back to the prehistoric and Roman times, and was once part of the lordship of Kožljak. The first written mention of the village was in 1340. In 1922, under the Italian rule, it became the center of a municipality because of its distinct language and origin.
The village has a church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1838, and a chapel of St. Sylvester, with some remains of frescoes and Glagolitic writings. According to the 2021. census, the village had 74 inhabitants.

It is one of the few places where the Istro-Romanian language is still spoken, along with Žejane and Lanišće, another villages in Istria. The language is endangered and has only a few hundred speakers left.

It is the birthplace of Andrei Glavina, a Croatian linguist and writer who studied and promoted the Istro-Romanian language and literature.
