Mjesto je poznato i po živopisnoj narodnoj nošnji, folklornim manifestacijama, školi sopela ( krčki puhački instrument ) te tradicionalnoj domaćoj kuhinji. U ovom otočnom središtu prevladavaju autohtone kamene kuće i uske kamene ulice koje odišu prošlim vremenima.

Auf der Ostseite der Insel Krk liegt die Gemeinde Dobrinj mit dem gleichnamigen Zentrum. Dobrinj liegt auf einem etwa 200 Meter hohen Hügel und ist eine der mittelalterlichen Burgen, die in der Vergangenheit Zentren der Alphabetisierung waren.
Dobrinjština war jahrhundertelang eine äußerst landwirtschaftlich geprägte Region. Dargestellt waren Tierhaltung und Olivenanbau sowie die Ausbeutung der Waldressourcen. Der Ort ist auch für seine farbenfrohen Trachten, Folkloreveranstaltungen, die Sopela-Schule (Krks Blasinstrument) und die traditionelle lokale Küche bekannt. In diesem Inselzentrum dominieren autochthone Steinhäuser und enge Steingassen, die an die Vergangenheit erinnern.

Per secoli Dobrinjština è stata una regione estremamente agricola. Erano rappresentate la zootecnia e l'olivicoltura, nonché lo sfruttamento delle risorse forestali. Il luogo è noto anche per i suoi costumi popolari colorati, gli eventi folcloristici, la scuola di sopela (lo strumento a fiato di Veglia) e la cucina tradizionale locale. In questo centro dell'isola prevalgono le case in pietra autoctone e le strette strade in pietra che ricordano il passato.
