Učka Nature Park includes the mountain Učka and part of Cicarija area, located along the northern coast of the Adriatic Sea on one of the northernmost points of the Mediterranean, and binds the continental part of Istria and Croatia.
The values for which the Učka declared as a nature park lies in its relief and near the sea, which caused the development of specific climate and lush forest vegetation. There are rich meadows and anthropogenic habitats among which we find a number of endemic, endangered and protected plant and animal species.
